Tony Pavia
Tony Pavia is the President and Founder of Teacher Consulting Group, a financial planning firm in San Diego specializing in asset management and retirement planning for educators and school employees.  Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at San Diego State University, is a Registered Investment Advisor, Registered Principal, and holds the series 6 and 63 investment licenses. He has appeared as a guest speaker on 760AM KFMB and KGTV Channel 10 news on various financial topics and has lectured throughout the country at financial planning symposiums. Tony has enjoyed spending the last 20 years assisting his educator clients in maximizing their STRS pension, managing their investment portfolios and implementing sound financial strategies to enhance retirement income. He currently resides in North San Diego with his wife, Teri and their two daughters.
 
John Cunningham
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Arizona, John Cunningham gained the position of Controller with a prominent healthcare company.  He managed 90 million dollars in annual accounts receivable and oversaw 2 million dollars in monthly payroll to more than 3,500 employees.  In 2004, John left the corporate setting to use his financial expertise to help individuals as part of the Teacher Consulting Group. For the past 6 years, John has focused his work on educators, becoming a specialist in STRS pension benefits and options.  John is dedicated to providing his educators clients with the knowledge needed to empower them to make the best possible financial decisions.  John is the director of the mortgage division of Teacher Consulting Group where he manages the financing of STRS loan programs, Home Affordability Refinance Programs (HARP), and FHA programs.
